Those who travel Grid 734 will have noticed that an aged concrete bridge is being replaced with culverts. This project is valued at $1,000,000; the Provincial Government is contributing 33.33% and the Federal Government is contributing 16.67%. The RM of Lumsden No. 189 is responsible for the remaining 50%. The contractor will return in Spring, 2026 to re-install the asphalt surface. We appreciate everyone’s patience throughout the construction period.

Trail Notice

Due to heavy rainfall in September, a portion of the Trans Canada Trail along Seven Bridges Road has caved in. The affected area is temporarily marked with pylons while we work to reroute this section of the trail.

Please use caution and follow all posted markers when travelling through the area.
