Deer Valley officially became an Organized Hamlet on December 31, 2016 by Ministerial Order. The Organized Hamlet of Deer Valley Board is comprised of the Chair, Secretary and a member. The Board prepares annual budgets, reviews invoices and provides recommendations to the RM of Lumsden Council. The Board also hosts an annual AGM. Subcommittees of the board are the Social Committee and Park Committee.

GARBAGE AND RECYCLE PICK UP
Garbage and Recycle services are currently provided by Loraas Disposal.
Garbage pick up is every Monday.
Recycle pick up is every second Friday.
If you have a damaged garbage or recycle cart, please contact the RM of Lumsden at (306) 731-2404.
DEER VALLEY UTILITY
Deer Valley Utility is currently privately operated utility. Members of the board are elected every 3 years. For water hook up or shut off, please contact Shane Melanson at shane.melanson@deervalleygolf.ca or (306) 535-6545.
TRANS CANADA TRAIL
