Dust Control Program
- Ratepayers must make an application to the municipal office and pay all costs associated with the application in advance;
- The municipality will provide blading preparation of the site, as resources permit;
- Ratepayers are required to sign a waiver indicating that the RM will not accept responsibility for dust control cost reimbursement or cost for application, if the applied dust control is accidentally bladed over during routine maintenance or is required to be bladed over if the road's condition warrants it;
- No dust control products be applied until the required application/waiver form is signed by the ratepayer; and
- The Public Works Manager is authorized to review and approve applications from ratepayers.
Fort Distributors Ltd. will provide dust control to the RM of Lumsden for the 2025 year.
APPLICATION AND WAIVER FOR DUST CONTROL
Ratepayers are responsible for making an application to the municipality and paying in advance for the cost of dust control applications. Application forms are due by April 30, 2025.
